Carusu, Etna Rosso DOC
Carusu is an Etna Rosso DOC from the northwest slopes of Mt Etna — grown on volcanic lava soils in Randazzo, Catania, where altitude and temperature extremes shape wines of rare elegance and depth.
Tasting Notes
Intense ruby red with garnet reflections. Elegant and spiced on the nose with ripe red fruit. Round and soft tannins, immediately ready and confident.

- Altitude: 650–850 m a.s.l.
- Soil: Volcanic – lava flow
- Climate: Cool and ventilated with consistent day-night temperature changes

- Vine age & training: 10–30 years · Free-standing Etneo

- Vinification: Lengthy and controlled maceration. Aged 6 months in wood and 24 months in bottle
